All international students are required to obtain a health and travel insurance policy that will cover them from the time they leave their country, through at least the first year of their study in Thailand.
In the case where the country of origin of a student does not have an insurance company that can provide this requirement, the International Service Center (ISC) can refer them to the University’s appointed insurance company.
International students are required to bring an official medical check-up from a reputable hospital from their country of origin to the International Service Center (ISC) immediately after arrival.
Before the first year of insurance coverage expires; international students must contact the International Service Center (ISC) to assist them again in extending their health and travel insurance policy for another year. This process must be repeated every year, or until their study in Thailand has ended.
International students are reminded that having a health and travel insurance policy is very important in order to protect them from any untowarvid incident while studying in Thailand.
Note: It is important that you prode a copy of your health and travel insurance policy as well as contact information of the person from your insurance company to the ISC, so that in case of emergency, the International Service Center (ISC) can assist you in communicating with them.
