REGISTER AS AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

VISIT THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SERVICE CENTER (ISS)

On the next working day following your arrival in Thailand, you must report to your faculty to finalize other requirements that will make you an official student of the university. The staff can assist you in registering your subjects at the Admission's Office, getting your Student ID, opening you local banl account asnd other essentials.

After meeting the faculty, it is important that you visit the international Student Service Center (ISS) located at the first floor of Building 7(Library).

 

You will be required to extend your Non-Immigrant ED (Education) Visa to one  year and the staff at ISS weill assist you in completing all the necessary requirements before submitting them to the nearest Immigration Office

 

Although all forms needed to update you immigrastion documents canbe downloaded from the internet, it is advisable to seek guidance from the ISS during the first few times to familiarize yourself with the immgration procedures in Thailand.

 

You are also requested to submit a photocopy of your Health and Travel Insurance Policy purchased from your country of origin (including the contact person) so that when the need arises, ISS can help you to coordinate with the insurance company.

 

After buying a local SIM card from the nearest convenience store, please report your contract number to the ISS and it will be recorded and used in times of emergency.

 

ATTEND AN ORIENTATION PROGRAM

All new international students are required to attend the Orientation program which is normally scheduled a week before the semester starts. It is important that you arrive in Thailand at least one to two weeks before the new semester opens so you have plenty of time to prepare yourself before you start studying

Attend Classes To Commerce The Semester

Finally you are now ready to attend your classes in your faculty. Your instructors will tell you on the first day of your classes about the course content as well as other course requirements needed to pass the subject. Please note it is also a condition of your Non-Immigrant ED (Education) Visa that you attend all classes as a full-time student.

 

If you need assistance on anything regarding your study or stay in Thailand, do not hesitate to ask the staff from your faculty or from the university. The Rangsit University community will be more than happy to help you!
