Rangsit University is proud that students from many different countries study on-campus, creating a multi-cultural atmosphere. The campus is well equipped with modern sporting facilities, shops, restaurants, medical and banking facilities and a post office. In addition to excellent study facilities, the university provides an environment that facilitates the development of personal networks and lifelong friendships. Students will also find that the living costs in Pathumthani are less than that in the neighbouring Bangkok.
There are many restaurants just outside or very near the university, suiting a wide range of budgets. Cuisines include Thai, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese and a variety of Western foods.
CAFETERIAS AND RESTAURANTS
At Rangsit University, maintaining good health and spiritual well-being are considered very important. The University has more than a hundred student clubs and recreation activities serving a broad range of interests. A fitness centre is located on the ground floor of Building 14 that includes a gymnasium as well as facilities for volleyball, badminton, basketball, Thai boxing and more. You can also play soccer and football in the open area for track and field sports or opt for an invigorating swim in a nearby Olympic-size swimming pool.

OTHER SHOPS
Almost all your daily needs are available from a range of shops just outside the campus, including a ‘flea’ market, an optician, a beauty salon, barber shop, Fuji and Kodak developing shops, coffee and bakery shops, and many more.
SPORTS AND RECREATION
BOOKSTORE
The University Bookstore is located at the 2nd floor of Building 8 (Dormitory) where one can purchase text books, teaching and learning materials, stationery and office supplies, greeting cards, university souvenirs, and a lot more.
POST OFFICE
A post office is located at Building 8 (Dormitory) near Cafeteria 1. Students can also use the address of the International Service Center (ISC) for their incoming mail, which will be held until collected.

BANKING SERVICES

Rangsit University has 2 local banks inside the campus. Bangkok Bank is in the façade of Building 1 (Administration Building), while Siam Commercial Bank is beside Cafeteria 2, just opposite Building 3 (Faculty of Liberal Arts).
There are also many ATM machines around campus that accept foreign cards. Credit cards are accepted in Thailand but students are advised to keep a certain amount of small cash to pay for taxis, food and other necessities.
TELEPHONE
Telephone costs are relatively cheap in Thailand. You are strongly advised to buy a local SIM card after your arrival at any 7-11 convenience stores around campus. Be ready to present a photocopy of your passport, as all new SIM cards are required by the government to be registered. You are required to provide your local number to the International Service Center (ISC) so you can be easily reached during emergency situations.
MEDICAL FACILITIES
During office hours (9:00 AM to 4:30 PM) students can get medical treatment at the Campus Clinic. After 4:30 PM, students can call the Dormitory to request transportation to the nearest hospital, or use the University’s ambulance when needed. A police station is also located just a few meters away from the University’s entrance.
